Security Engineer

Do you want to be part of driving security efforts forward in a tech organization with high ambitions? We are looking for a dedicated Security Engineer who wants to educate, support, and develop our security processes to minimize risks and create a secure digital environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence and improve security awareness within our organization. You will work with training, threat analysis, code reviews, and architecture while also driving automation and code analysis processes. Your work will contribute to enhancing the security of our software development and minimizing risks for the entire organization.

You will also work with:

• Supporting the organization in security matters and driving proactive change processes
• Educating and guiding development teams in secure development, architecture, code reviews, and threat analysis
• Designing and maintaining automation and processes for code analysis and configuration
• Securing CI/CD pipelines and deployment procedures, and improving the security posture of workloads in production environments
• Ensuring that our internally developed software is managed securely and follows cybersecurity best practices

Our Cybersecurity department currently consists of 18 people, and you will be part of our newly established Application Security Team alongside a senior colleague. The team is led by our CISO, who is part of the Tech leadership team and regularly reports to all boards and management groups within the organization. You will collaborate with specialists in various cybersecurity roles, all sharing a strong passion for technical security.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a background in application security and a strong desire to develop and enhance security work within a tech-driven organization. You have previous experience working with security-related issues and want to use your expertise to guide and support development teams. Furthermore, you have a deep understanding of security challenges in software development and the ability to identify, analyze, and communicate risks and priorities effectively.

With your extensive experience and expertise in application security, secure architecture, and secure development, you will be a key resource supporting our technical development and strategy. You are used to working closely with developers, security experts, and leadership functions and have the ability to discuss risk and priorities from a business perspective.

We Would Like You to Have

• Strong knowledge of modern security practices
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, DevOps, or software development
• Experience working in a regulated industry with compliance requirements
• Experience implementing security in agile development environments
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written
