We are looking for someone to lead innovation initiatives across our digital products in order to support our agreed agenda and priorities.

Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for securing infusion of emerging technologies and innovative solutions into our agenda and agreed portfolio. Strong focus on external partners and working together with vendors and collaborating actively together with retailers across IKEA.

More specifically, in this role you will be responsible for:

• Leading and working closely together with peers across the totality of Inter IKEA and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA offer through innovation.
• Scouting of new technologies and digital innovations in the market.
• Together with our Category organization, leading partnerships and innovations across emerging technology sectors where IKEA is pioneering.
• Partnering up with other innovations in IKEA and enable co-creation and co-worker engagement into the innovation ideation process.
• Together with stakeholders and peers, selecting what innovative technology is worth progressing into deeper investigation and proof of concepts.
• Enabling insights and explorations connected to the total digital product portfolio.
• Securing the ability to go from ideation to deployment and facilitate a strong mind-set of innovation to create a unique advantage for IKEA also in the future.
• Connecting with other areas of expertise within IKEA and in other relevant areas across the IKEA network.

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a strong leader able to inspire and mobilize people towards clearly set objectives. We believe you have an extensive knowledge and experience in leading all levels of innovation and all stages of innovation (from ideation to deployment). You possess great knowledge and interest in new technologies and digital solutions. You bring with you strong ability to lead and facilitate creative and innovative processes in cross functional organisations and areas. You have capability to navigate and lead business and people in a complex, ambiguous and fast-changing business and technology environment.

We are looking for a visionary, pragmatic and adaptable leader with strong willpower. You are curious and able to build trustful relationships and networks with stakeholders, business partners and franchisees. It is important that you are able to inspire and clarify business benefits from the innovation project portfolio in a receiver-oriented way.
