Business Platform Architect

This is what you will do

As a Business Platform Architect at Aspen Group, you will have a key role in the strategy and direction for our business platform, with MS D365 Finance & Operations/SCM as the core system. You will take on overall responsibility for ensuring that the platform meets business requirements and aligns with overarching architectural principles. This role includes solution ownership and coordination of different process areas in projects, along with ensuring that the platform's core standards and functionalities are fully utilized.

You will lead governance activities, such as process and system improvements, in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Your responsibilities will also involve setting the strategy for application development and ensuring high-quality solutions through documentation of system design, data, and configuration based on business needs. Additionally, you will play a central role in overseeing platform lifecycle activities and ensuring compliance with standards, SLAs, and risk management frameworks.

In this role, you will actively engage with various business stakeholders, representing IT in relevant forums to guide decision-making processes. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities for platform optimization and drive continuous improvements. Your ability to manage cross-functional collaboration and implement solutions will ensure the business platform continues to support Aspen Group’s operational excellence and long-term goals.

The position is located in Gothenburg or Malmö and reports to the IT and Process Development Manager within Aspen Group. Some travel will occur.

This is what you need to succeed

You have

  • Extensive experience with MS D365 F&O/SCM and related ERP solutions.
  • Several years experience working with system implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • A solid understanding of business processes within production, distribution, supply chain and finance.
  • Proven experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders in global environments.
  • Technical expertise in application maintenance, SLA compliance, risk assessment, and IT lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
